The Read
Style, strengths, and defining traits.
Pitbull brings one of the deepest featherweight résumés ever carried into the UFC. The former long-time Bellator champion owns wins by knockout, submission and decision in almost equal measure, and even with reduced output he still mixes enough counterpunching, clinch strength and opportunistic grappling to make rounds hard to read.
The recent stretch also explains where he stands now. He debuted in the UFC with a loss to Yair Rodríguez, rebounded by edging Dan Ige for his first Octagon win, and then lost a competitive fight to Aaron Pico, which leaves him dangerous but clearly in a results-driven veteran phase rather than the peak title-run version of himself.
