The Read
Style, strengths, and defining traits.
Kuse was stopped for the first time in his career, finished by a first-round left hook from Marcio Barbosa at UFC Fight Night on August 22, 2026. He has never won a fight by submission. His first two losses were decisions — a split to Cameron Smotherman and a unanimous to Leonardo Morales — while six of his nine wins came by knockout or TKO and the remaining three on the cards.
He has fought across a wide spread of American regional promotions rather than one home circuit: Titan FC most often, plus Fighting Force, Combate Global, Combat Night, Fury FC, LFA and Samurai Fight House. His two most recent results before the UFC were a unanimous decision over Kevin Natividad at LFA 220 and a second-round TKO of Leandro Camargo in April 2026.
