What happened
The result, the defining moments, and what the verdict means.
Spann dropped Pinto with an uppercut early in round one and briefly threatened a guillotine as he stood.
Pinto answered with a right hook that checked Spann, then a takedown and repeated ground-and-pound with Spann carrying his weight — Spann was visibly gassed between rounds.
A right hand, left hook and knee into the clinch, a trip takedown, and punches on a kneeling Spann until the referee stopped it.
